Just one day after a fire destroyed more than 500 American flags, Tulsa's American Legion Post 1 received a donation of more than 1,000 flags.
The Union Junior ROTC and Congressman Jim Bridenstine donated the new flags.
They'll do more than replace the ones lost Monday when a storage shed burned.
Legion members use the flags to decorate the graves of servicemen and women - a solemn tradition they're grateful to be able to continue.

"I think it's fantastic. I was confident that the people of Tulsa would step forward as they have in the past, not just locally, but Tulsa's always been ready, able, willing to help people around the world,” said Gary Wall Commander of American Legion Post 1.
The legion post, along with the AFJROTC cadets burned the damaged flags in a ceremony Tuesday afternoon to make sure they were retired with proper respect.
As for the fire, investigators still aren't sure of the cause.
