Tulsa police say a woman was robbed overnight in Tulsa by a man she met on Facebook. The robbery took place at the Darlington Mobile Home Park around 1:30 a.m.
Officers said the victim had been talking with a man on the social media site who goes by the screen name of Shawn Helvey. He asked her for a ride, and she picked him up near Archer and Columbia.
The woman told police she picked up one of her friends, then Helvey asked her to pick up his dad. After that, they drove to the mobile home park at Archer and Darlington where Helvey put a gun to the victim's head and stole her gray Mazda 5.
The woman and her friend ran to the QuikTrip at Admiral and Yale to call police. The two men took off in her Mazda, according to police.
The suspects are described as Shawn Helvey, AKA Deshawn Helvy, a white man about 5'8" and 140 pounds with tattoos from the neck down as well as tear drop tattoos under both eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and jean shorts. They didn't have a good description of the second man.
