Edison Student Crushed By Column Reaches Recovery Milestone

The Edison High School senior seriously injured when a concrete column fell on her reached a milestone in her recovery.

Morgan Gamble posted a video on Twitter with the comment "I can walk!"

Gamble’s midsection and legs were crushed when the two-ton pillar fell over as she and a friend sat down in a hammock.

Osage SkyNews 6 HD flew over Edison Thursday, and though the area is blocked off, the pillars remain.

The school plans to take them out this summer.
