Police have recovered a car stolen from a couple at a Tulsa car wash early Wednesday.

Officers located the 2015 Camaro near 15th Place and Sheridan at about 8:15 a.m.

Police said they first got a call about the case from a convenience store in the 2100 block of South Sheridan at about  2:30 a.m.

They found a couple who told them a man with a gun approached them at a car wash about a block away and demanded they give him their Chevy Camaro.  The suspect drove away in the car.

Police located the Camaro about six hours later with one of its wheels missing.  The car sustained some body damage and a broken windshield as well.

Police said the robber also took the couple's cell phone.  Neither victim was injured.
