Authorities have a woman in custody and are searching for a man after a chase involving several law enforcement agencies and two counties. It ended when the car crashed near 57th West Avenue and Edison just over the Osage County line.
Two people in the vehicle got out and ran into some nearby woods. They're looking for 18-year-old Jacob Crain.
Trooper Dwight Durant of OHP says the chase began when officers spotted a stolen Toyota Camry. Crain was driving the stolen car, according to OHP. Troopers say they first tried to stop him at Gilcrease Museum Road and Charles Page Boulevard.
The car took off, going through neighborhoods, into Sand Springs then crashed.
His passenger, Melinda Overton, was taken into custody after a K-9 team found her in the woods. She was treated for a dog bite.
Crain pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and drug possession in January of this year.
Durant said they believe Crain lives in the area. If you see him, call 911.
