Osage County Grass Fire Burns Overnight

Firefighters are letting a grass fire in Osage County burn itself out. The fire in the Zink Ranch began burning Wednesday. 

The Rock Fire Department said the fire is contained. It is near Skiatook Lake and the Zink Ranch. A Zink Ranch ranger said they are making frequent trips to check on the fire which is not spreading at this time.

The ranger said it is not threatening any structures Thursday morning.

Green Country is under a Red Flag warning Thursday with very high winds expected.
