Suspected DUI Driver Crashes Into Tulsa Power Pole

Several hundred Tulsa customers were without power for a short time early Tuesday after a driver crashed into a power pole.

Police believe alcohol may have been involved in the crash near 41st Street South and Memorial that took place around midnight. EMSA took the unidentified driver to the hospital.  

There's no word the driver's condition.  

Public Service Company of Oklahoma crews were quick to restore power but say the damaged pole will have be replaced.
