Victim Dies After Shooting At Tulsa Bar, Suspect In Custody

Tulsa Police say a shooting victim has died Sunday. He has been identified as Nathan Brooker, 27. 

TPD says the charges against Watani Phinnes Gleason will be upgraded to murder, according to Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker. 

Gleason was arrested for shooting Brooker at Mama T’s Big Easy bar at 65th and Peoria early Saturday morning.

Gleason was found at his residence and arrested about 8 p.m. on Saturday. He was held without bond as doctors did not expect Brooker to survive his wounds.

Walker said it appears the incident began with an altercation inside the bar then moved outside and that is where the victim was shot multiple times and once in the head.

It's Tulsa's third murder of 2016.
