A company at Tulsa's Port of Catoosa is celebrating a $2.7 million expansion.
Linde Engineering North America built a new office building and expanded its fabrication facility to allow more room for its trial fitting area at the Port.
"We are pleased to be at the forefront of plant modularization and these upgrades will yield even more opportunities to develop and streamline our process," said LENA President, Steve Bertone.
According to a news release, the new office building is a two-story, 13,000 square-foot structure. Bertone said the added space allows for future staff growth and provides a more effective, safe environment for fabrication.
"We are very proud to have Linde Engineering North America as a member of our industrial family," said Port Director Bob Portiss.
Company and city officials marked the event with a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday.
Linde officials say the expansion is something the company desperately needed.
