Tours Offered At Tulsa Botanic Garden

On those few and far between days when it’s warm in the winter, a tip to the Tulsa Botanic Garden might be a good way to spend the day.

The last time we were there not much had been planted; but they are well beyond that now, and Garden president and CEO Todd Lasseigne was excited to show it off.

"It's really turned out beautiful, it really has. A lot of design and thought went into all of this," he said. "Everywhere you see the fresh mulch is where we planted the 100,000 bulbs."

After we saw the plants, we put on our hard hats and vests and went to the children's discovery garden set to open in late spring.

The garden is open Thursday through Sunday with tours offered Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
