Tulsa Police are looking for a man they say tried to run over two police officers Monday night.
Officers said it all began outside a motel in the 8100 block of East Skelly Drive at about 11:30 p.m. They said an officer was looking for a suspect in a human trafficking investigation when the man hit the officer with his car. Police said the officer fired at the car but it kept going. They said the officer suffered only minor injuries.
A short time later, another officer located the suspect's car at an apartment complex in the 7900 block of East 60th Street South. As the officer got out to investigate, the suspect suddenly drove at the officer, police said. The officer fired multiple shots at the car but the car drove off. Police don't know if the man was hit by any of the shots.
At about 2 a.m. Tuesday, police responding to a domestic dispute found the suspect's car at Lakeside Place Apartment complex near 21st and I-44. Police searched the complex then towed the car so it can be processed for evidence.
