The Salvation Army is making a huge difference in the lives of people in Green Country this holiday season.
Thursday, 30 volunteers helped serve a free restaurant-style early Christmas dinner at the Center of Hope building.
Everyone and anyone was welcomed at the event.
"We really love it when they come in with their families and they all get to sit together at the table. But the, also special thing is that somebody that might now have family to join for Christmas they come her and they become family," said DJ Marrow Engram with the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army estimates more than 500 people came to the dinner.
