Tulsa Police responded to a domestic dispute that ended in a shooting Saturday morning. Police said a man and woman got into a fight at the Willow Creek Apartments in the 4600 block of East 68th Street around 10:45 a.m.

The woman tried to kick her boyfriend out of the apartment, according to police. He refused to leave, and she called family for help.

When her family members got the apartment, the boyfriend was gone. He showed back up with a friend, however, according to police.

The fight spilled out into the parking lot of the apartment complex, and police say some of the men started exchanging blows. That's when the boyfriend's friend shot the woman's brother, records show.

Police said when they arrived, the found the victim lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim is expected to survive, and police are still investigating the incident. The boyfriend and his friend left in a black SUV, so they are not yet in custody.
