9-Year-Old Boy Wounded When Bullet Goes Through Door, Tulsa Police Say

A 9-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital late Tuesday after someone shot through the door of the apartment he was in, police said.

It happened at the Mingo Manor Apartments near 51st and Mingo at about 10 p.m.

Police said someone shot through a door and hit the boy in the leg.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police still are looking for the shooter.
