The LeFlore County Sheriff's Office says an unidentified motorcyclist stepped forward with a act of kindness Wednesday evening.
In a post on the sheriff's office Facebook page, a biker who was attending the local H.O.G. rally in Poteau this coming weekend, paid the cost of putting fuel in a deputy's patrol car.
The biker said he had seen the deputy having trouble getting a fuel card to work at a Poteau convenience store. The sheriff's office said since the card wasn't working, the deputy would have had to call his supervisor to bring him another fuel card.
The biker stepped forward and told the deputy and the store's clerk, he would pay for the fuel.
The biker declined to give his name, but said that it was just a thank you for the job the deputy "was doing serving the county."
The Facebook post went on to say the sheriff's office wanted to thank the unnamed biker as well as all the people in LeFlore County who support the law enforcement.support.
