Blue Bell Announces First Returning Flavor

Blue Bell Ice Cream is coming back to select store shelves on August 31, and the company is starting with its Homemade Vanilla flavor.

They made the announcement Monday morning on their Instagram account.

“The first flavor we’re revealing is our top-selling Homemade Vanilla,” the company said. “It’s rich, homemade tasting vanilla ice cream with a special hand-cranked flavor that’s the best in the country.”

The company promised that another flavor would be unveiled Tuesday.

Blue Bell Ice Cream will be arriving this month at stores in Houston, Austin and the company’s hometown of Brenham. 

Oklahoma will be included in the second, third and fifth phases of their roll out, but no date for that has been set.

Blue Bell says plants in Brenham, Texas, and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma are still undergoing facility and production process upgrades.
