OHP: Sea-Doo Rider Dies After Hitting Tree On Lake Eufaula

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a man died after his personal watercraft hit a tree on Lake Eufaula Wednesday evening.

Troopers said Cody Edmondson, 23, of Newalla, was riding his Sea-Doo too close to shore and struck a tree in the water at about 7 p.m.  The OHP says the crash happened east of Porum Cut.  

Edmondson, who sustained head and arm injuries, was taken to a Muskogee hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
