Owasso Police Department pinged a victim's cell phone and "saturated" an apartment complex to find her during an alleged sexual assault Sunday, June 28, according to an arrest report.

The woman had called police for help but the call disconnected before she was able to tell a dispatcher exactly where she was.

Police arrested 32-year-old Leonidas Uriel Hernandez for first-degree rape and forcible sodomy.

An arrest report states OPD received a 911 call and heard a woman saying, "get off me, get off me," before the call disconnected. The dispatcher called back and again heard the woman protesting, saying "Leo, stop it."

The communications officer got a partial address, and officers arrived at a small apartment complex. The arrest report states officers saturated the complex and put their ears against front doors, listening for sounds of distress.

An officer heard a woman moaning in one apartment and got no response when he knocked.

The officer struck the door with his fist, and it swung open, the report states. Officers say the woman was crying, and Hernandez told them "it's OK," at first refusing to put his hands behind his back. He was eventually restrained and taken to the Owasso Jail for transport to Tulsa.

The woman was taken to the hospital for a sexual assault examination.

Hernandez is being held without bond for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and on the sexual assault complaints.
