Today a judge has sentenced a convicted killer to life in prison with the possibility of parole.

A jury found Frankie Jackson guilty a week ago for the first-degree murder of Texas truck driver Robert Horton.

Horton was shot and killed in 2013 as he unloaded supplies at a Papa John's restaurant near the University of Tulsa.

Jackson is one of three to be convicted of the killing. Damian Anderson, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to accessory to murder, and Jermaine Savory, pleaded guilty to murder last fall and also is serving a life sentence.
