The Tulsa City-County Library hosts a variety of festivals and events throughout the year, and there is one just around the corner. The Asian-American festival takes place at the Martin Regional Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6.
Some of the events planned include a traditional Chinese dragon dance, martial arts demonstrations, storytelling, drumming and a tea ceremony. There will be arts and crafts booths, kite-flying demonstrations, cosplay and a food concession with traditional Asian cuisine.
You can also check out the new collection of Chinese materials available with the Tulsa City-County Library's partnership with the Shanghai Library.
Martin Regional is located at 2601 South Garnett Road.
