Tulsa Man Hurt After Jumping On Ex-Girlfriend's Moving Car

Police say a man was taken to a Tulsa hospital Tuesday morning after he threw himself on a woman's car.

Officers said the incident happened in front of McClain High School on North Peoria just before 6:15 a.m.

Police said the man was upset the woman was trying to break up with him, so he threw himself on the woman's car. The impact caused several hundred dollars in damage to the woman's car.

Tulsa Police Corporal Dan Miller said this is definitely not the way to patch up a relationship.

"He's trying to get her to stop because he loves her and he wants to reconcile. Unfortunately, I don't think that's the way to do it," said Cpl. Miller.

The woman wasn't injured. Police said EMSA took the man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
