OSU, ORU To Play In NCAA Baseball Regional In Stillwater

Oklahoma State University and Oral Roberts University are playing in the NCAA Stillwater Regional beginning on Friday, May 29. 

OSU, who is hosting the regional for the 12th time, will play St. John's of New York. 

ORU will play University of Arkansas. 

The regional is a double-elimination format.

Oklahoma State lost to Texas 6 to 3 Sunday afternoon in the Big 12 championship game at ONEOK Field in Tulsa. Oral Roberts is returns to post season play for the first time since 2012 after defeating IPFW 6 to 0 in the Summit League tournament on Saturday. 

UCLA is the No. 1 seed in the NCAA baseball tournament for the first time.

The Division I Baseball Committee on Monday made the Pac-12 champion Bruins (42-14) the top seed over Southeastern Conference regular-season champion LSU (48-10).

The other six national seeds, in order, are: Louisville, Florida, Miami, Illinois, TCU and Missouri State.

The 64 team field for this year's College World Series was released Monday morning.
