Mower Accident Kills Man In Delaware County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Wyandotte man died in a crash while mowing a lawn near Grove Tuesday evening. 

The crash happened near a home on Delaware County South 595 Road at 6:15 p.m., according to the OHP.

The trooper said Christopher Tribbey, 39, lost control of his Kubota mower, rolled down a 70-foot embankment and off a seven-foot retaining wall with the mower landing on top of him. 

Tribbey was pronounced dead at the scene.
