Texas Sex Offender, Escapee Arrested At Oklahoma Casino

Oklahoma police arrested a registered Texas sex offender Friday morning who had escaped from a Fort Worth halfway house on Wednesday. 

Charles Sprague, 44, was taken into custody at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville.

Sprague was listed as a “violent sexual predator” by authorities. They said he slipped away from the Texas facility at 5 a.m. Wednesday. Officials said he had cut off an electronic tracking device he was required to wear.

Authorities finally caught up with Sprague at the Oklahoma casino. They said he was taken into custody without incident.
