A judge sentenced a Tulsa man to prison for a robbery spree that ended with the man being shot by a Tulsa police officer in November 2014.

The judge ordered Michael Muehlberg, 31, to serve 18 years.

Muehlberg pleaded guilty to several robberies from July through November of last year. The last robbery was at a Check 'N Go near 51st and Harvard.

When a police officer responded to the silent alarm at the store, she found Muehlberg still in the store reaching for what she thought was a weapon in his waistband. She shot him then chased him through the parking lot before he collapsed.

Meuhlberg's weapon turned out to be a pellet gun.
