Postoak Lodge Launches Zipline Tours In Tulsa Area

Postoak Lodge held the opening day of its Retreat Zipline Canopy Tours this weekend. The tour, just north of Tulsa, takes about two hours.

Folks zip down six different lines, and get to take in the sights from seven different platforms. After being cooped up during the last several weeks of snow storms - tour guides say it's a great way to welcome spring weather.

"It's a whole lot of fun to just get out - get outside and get away from the television," said Justin Pigeon, Zipline tour guide.

"Away from all the electronics. Enjoy the air and the trees. You get an awesome view of downtown Tulsa that not a lot of people have had."

The experience costs about $75.

The Lodge also had a challenge running event with six races in total held Saturday and Sunday.
