Wreck Causes Power Outages In East Tulsa

About 1,200 customers were without power for a few hours after a truck ran into a power pole near 31st and Garnett.

Police say a young man driving a pickup was speeding and ran head on into the pole at about 10 p.m. Saturday night. The pole snapped in three pieces, disrupting some of the lines.

TPD officers directed traffic at 31st and Garnett as Public Service of Oklahoma workers repaired the line.
