Tulsa Police said employees at the QuikTrip store just west of the 31st and Highway 169 interchange were robbed early Tuesday.

Officers said two men wearing hooded sweatshirts entered the store just after 4 a.m. and locked the doors behind them. They said the two implied they had a gun then demanded cigarettes and cash from the clerk behind the counter. After getting the money, both ran out of the store leaving the cigarettes behind.

Police said a K-9 officer tracked the pair to a nearby creek where officers found the men's sweatshirts. Officers said none of the four employees in the store at the time were injured.
