Tulsa Tech Students Build Tribute Wall For 9/11 Victims

The victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks were remembered across the country Thursday.

At Tulsa Tech, students collaborated to build a tribute wall to those who died. The wall includes dedications to the police, fire, and first responders involved in the tragedy.

Masonry Instructor, Chauncey Kila, built the important history lesson into his students' very first project of the year.

"I feel like we need to remind the generations that are coming up about this historic date,” Kila said.

His classes collaborate on a plan, then work together to create it. His students have done this project for a couple of years now.
