If you're looking for ways to plan your Independence Day, you won't run out of ideas here in Green Country. One of the biggest shows might be the one going on at Tulsa River Parks.
ONEOK Freedom Fest will light up the downtown Tulsa skies this 4th of July. Around 80,000 people are expected to attend. The show will start around 9:40 p.m. and will last about 20 minutes.
In Jenks, the Mexican restaurant Los Cabos will be hosting their annual Boomfest Fireworks. The display starts at 9:45 and will take place from the Jenks pedestrian bridge. The 96th Street Bridge crossing the river will close at 8:30 p.m.
In Owasso, the annual Red, White and Boom fireworks display will begin shortly after nightfall. Some good spots to watch are at Owasso High School and the Owasso Sixth Grade Center.
In Claremore, you can head out to the beautiful Claremore Lake Park. That display will take place at dusk.
There are so many shows, the folks at Big Blast Fireworks have compiled a list. Click the link to see it.
