Bartlesville Police Say Driver Injured In Rollover Crash

Bartlesville Police say a driver were injured in a rollover wreck just after midnight Saturday. Excessive speed and alcohol may have caused the crash, according to Bartlesville Police Captain Jay Hastings.

Hastings said a Red Ford Taurus was westbound on Tuxedo Boulevard near the Caney River Bridge when it ran off the north side of the road. The car hit a power pole and rolled several times.

The driver was taken by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital. Hastings did not have information on the driver's identity or condition.

"As of 10 a.m. Saturday morning, PSO was still on scene replacing a power pole and Cableone was in the process of fixing a fiber optic cable which was damaged in the accident," he said.
