Deputies: Coweta Woman Arrested After Driving Over Ex-Daughter-In-Law

Wagoner County Sheriff's Office Major Gary Handley says deputies got a call about two women fighting and that one of the women had run over the other with a SUV.

A Coweta woman has bonded out of the Wagoner County jail following her arrest for allegedly driving over her ex-daughter-in-law late Tuesday. 

The sheriff's office says deputies were sent a home in the 21900 block of East 121st Street South at about 8 p.m. 

Wagoner County Sheriff's Office Major Gary Handley says deputies got a call about two women fighting and that one of the women had run over the other with a SUV. 

Deputies learned that during the verbal altercation Shelia Thomas, 53, had struck Miranda Disney, 41, with a 2005 Nissan Xterra.   

Disney was taken by ambulance to a Tulsa hospital with possible leg injuries.  Shelia Thomas was arrested and booked into jail on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon.
