City of Tulsa water and sewer bills increased this month, and the new rate is showing up on bills residents will receive in November.

The new rate, which was adopted as part of the city budget, is 7 percent higher for water, and 9 percent higher for sewer.

City of Tulsa water and sewer rates increased this month, and the new rate will show up on bills residents get during the November billing cycle.

According to the City, it will increase the average customer's monthly bill by about $4.

The other fees included on city bills, including EMSA, trash and storm water, are unchanged.

The rate change affects all City of Tulsa customers, and residents in suburbs supplied water from Tulsa.
