Oral Roberts University Inaugurates New President

He may have been on the job for a while, but Oral Roberts University officially welcomed William Wilson as the school's fourth president.

ORU celebrated the inauguration of Dr. Wilson at the Mabee Center on Friday.

He has been the acting president at the university since June after serving on the Board of Trustees.

Just in a few months, Wilson has made a lot of changes, bringing in a new chief financial officer for the university and creating a cabinet.

While there have been changes, the university's misson remains the same.

"When you add these trends to the explosive growth of spiriual power of Christianity around world, it doesn't take the troaz vision like the aposle Paul to hear the world and the global church crying, 'ome over and help us,'" Wilson said.

Wilson replaces former president Mark Rutland.
