Tulsa Man Charged With Armed Robbery Now In Custody

Ramond M. Thompson, Tulsa Police Department's Most Wanted for the week, is in custody.

Ramond M. Thompson, Tulsa Police Department's Most Wanted for the week, is in custody. Robbery detectives have been told that Thompson is in custody in Missouri and will be brought back to Tulsa soon.

Thompson is one of three men police say committed a series of armed robberies.

The 31-year-old Thompson was wanted on a $750,000 bond.

According to court records, Thompson, Donato D. Brown and Demarco Darnell Gardner robbed Phat Philly's, 1305 South Peoria Avenue, in May of 2012. Three months later, they robbed the Family Dollar at 2215 North Harvard and an individual.

Thompson also has several outstanding misdemeanor warrants out for his arrest. He was convicted of robbery with a firearm and possession of a stolen vehicle in 2000.
