SUV Loses Both Front Wheels In Tulsa Wreck

A man and woman on their way to work had a minor accident that did major damage to a Mercury Mountaineer. The single-vehicle wreck took place at 7:15 a.m. Sunday on the southeast leg of the IDL.

The man told News On 6 the car was entering westbound Broken Arrow Expressway from Highway 75 southbound when the right front tire blew. The SUV hit the right-hand barrier wall, knocking the right front wheel off. The vehicle then crossed the roadway and struck the left-hand barrier, causing the left front wheel to come loose.

The 20-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in fair condition with a shoulder injury. The 17-year-old male was treated at the scene.
