Driver Leads Sand Springs Police On High-Speed Chase

Sand Springs Police arrested a man after a high speed car chase early Wednesday.

Police say it started just before 2 a.m. east of the downtown area. A police officer attempted to pull Martin Moses, 49, of Sand Springs over for a traffic violation when the driver sped away.

Police officers finally stopped Moses' car near Adams Road.

Moses was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of eluding, driving under suspension and having a defective vehicle.  Moses was also booked on an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled drug charge.
