Pride Of Owasso Hold Golf Tournament To Raise Funds For Ireland Trip

Area golfers can help a local high school band pay for a once in a lifetime trip. Supporters of the Pride of Owasso High School band will hold a benefit golf tournament to help offset the costs of a trip to Ireland to march in the 2014 St. Patrick's Day parade.

The Owasso High band is scheduled to play in Dublin. The parade draws about a half million spectators. The group is working to raise funds to help defer expenses for several hundred students who hope to make the trip.

The benefit golf tournament is set for April 6, 2013 at Bailey Ranch Golf Course in Owasso. Registrations begins at 7:00 am, with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. The cost is $80 per person, or $320 for a four person team. The tournament includes lunch and a number of contests and prize giveaways.
