Elementary students are once again changing up the landscape in Tulsa.
Students at Chouteau Elementary helped plant five pine trees in front of their school Thursday.
Since moving into their new building, students at the school have planted 115 trees.
Teachers say it's a great way for the kids to learn about nature.
"Learning how to care for it, learning how to properly plant it, we don't want to plant it too tall or too deep," said Special Ed teacher Amelia Agostinelli, "get their hands dirty, great hands on experience."
The students also created ceramic leaves that will be sold at the Green Leaf Gala next month, as a way of saying thank you to "Up with Trees," who donated the trees.
