Three Tulsa Church Employees To Plead In Sex Case, Two Others Want Trial

Three employees of Tulsa's Victory Christian Center accused of waiting two weeks to report the rape of a 13-year-old girl told the court they will be entering pleas to the charge.

Three employees of Tulsa's Victory Christian Center accused of waiting two weeks to report the rape of a 13-year-old girl told the court they will be entering pleas to the charge.

Paul Willemstein, Anna George and Harold Sullivan are charged with failing to report the assault in a timely manner, a misdemeanor.

The Tulsa County DA's office says the three can either plead guilty or no contest to the charge. The hearing for the pleas is set for March 18, 2013.

John and Charica Daugherty, the son and daughter-in-law of the head pastor at Victory Christian Center, want a jury trial.

They're charged with the same misdemeanor. If found guilty, each faces up to a year in the county jail.

Former Victory employee Chris Denman was sentenced in December to 55 years in prison for raping the 13-year-old girl last year and other sex crimes.

A second ex-employee, Israel Castillo, is facing an August trial on a felony charge of making a lewd proposal to a child.
