Tulsa County Sheriff Stanley Glanz Files Lawsuit Against Walmart

Tulsa County Sheriff Stanley Glanz has filed a civil lawsuit against Walmart stemming from an incident he says happened in its store at 2019 East 81st Street in Tulsa.

In the suit Glanz states he and his wife had finished shopping and were checking out on May 2, 2011 when "he slipped and fell on the floor."

He says the fall injured his knee and he had to have surgery to repair the damage in July 2012, according to the suit.

Filed in Tulsa County District Court, the suit is asking for damages between $10,000 and $75,000.

The lawsuit was initially filed on February 8th with an amended petition filed on February 11th.
