1 Arrested, 2 Sent To Hospital After Incidents At Nathan Hale High, Middle Schools
While first responders were treating a student for overdose at Nathan Hale Middle School, a fight broke out at the high school, resulting in one arrest and another student being taken to the hospital.Wednesday, December 5th 2012, 5:19 pm
Police responded to a fight at Nathan Hale High School Wednesday.
School leaders say a student involved in the fight in the cafeteria Wednesday afternoon was arrested for possession of several bags of marijuana.
Another student involved in the fight was taken to the hospital for a head injury.
The parents of all the other students were called to pick them up.
Also Wednesday, at the middle school, a student overdosed and was taken to the hospital.
The school is investigating prescription drug use involving Hale students.
Three of them were released to their parents.
