Tulsa Basketball Adds Stevie Repichowski To Signing Class

Tulsa Head Coach Danny Manning announced Wednesday the signing of guard Stevie Repichowski to a National Letter of Intent with The University of Tulsa.

The 6-5, 185-pound Repichowski from Lansing, Mich., becomes Tulsa's second signee of the 2012 early signing period, joining 6-10 forward Lew Evans of Salt Lake City. Repichowski is currently attending Kingdom Prep Academy in Johnston, Iowa.

"Stevie is a talented wing with good size. He has sneaky athleticism and is a very good shooter," Tulsa Head Coach Danny Manning said. "Coach (Joel) Hannagan's teams at Kingdom Prep are well-coached, they play the game the right way, and they are very team-oriented. Stevie is a good young man, and he will be a very good addition to our program."

As a four-year letterwinner at Lansing Catholic High School, Repichowski averaged 18 points, three rebounds and two assists per game. He scored more than 1,000 points, led his area in three-pointers made, and finished his high school career as the third-leading scorer in Lansing Catholic history.

Repichowski was a first-team Michigan Class B All-State selection by MLive.com as a senior after averaging 23 points, four rebounds and three assists per game, and leading the Cougars to a 21-2 record and the District Finals of the state playoffs. He was named to the Lansing Journal Dream Team, and was a first-team Capital Area Activities Conference selection. He also earned second-team all-state honors by the Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News.

As a sophomore and junior, he was honorable mention all-state by the Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News. His 18 points-, two rebounds- and three assists-per game average as a junior earned him first-team All-CAAC honors. He was also a first-team All-CAAC selection as a sophomore after averaging 13 points, two rebounds and three assists. He competed in the state playoffs with the varsity team as a freshman, after he averaged 20 points, three rebounds and four assists during the season for the junior varsity squad.
