The Tulsa Shock received the third overall pick for the 2013 WNBA Draft next spring at the draft lottery Wednesday evening.
The Shock had the third highest possibility of receiving the number one overall pick with a 17.8 percent chance. The Phoenix Mercury, which had a 27.6 percent chance, received the first pick. Chicago received the second pick, while Washington, which had a 44.2 percent chance to receive the top pick, took the fourth pick.
With the first pick, it's likely the Mercury will pick Baylor center Brittney Griner.
It's unclear who the Shock's top prospect is at No.3, but Notre Dame guard Skylar Diggins and Delaware's Elena Delle Donne seem to be the top options after Griner.
