Public Memorial For Tulsa's Mother Grace Tucker Held Tuesday

Family and friends will gather Tuesday to remember the life and legacy of Grace Tucker. Fondly known as "Mother" Tucker, she started a church and opened shelters in Tulsa, driven by the dream to end poverty.

Tucker received an honorary doctorate from Oral Roberts University in 2001 as well as other awards along the way.

A public memorial service honoring her will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Victory Christian Center, 7700 South Lewis Avenue.
