Tulsa Mother Of 7 Drug-Addicted Babies Pleads Guilty

A Tulsa mother accused of having several babies addicted to drugs was sentenced to 10 years in prison Tuesday.

Daiquiri Miller, 34, pleaded guilty to child neglect.

Miller had all seven of her children taken away by DHS, because most of them were born addicted to cocaine.

Prosecutors filed three felony charges against Miller for the last three babies.

The statute of limitations had expired on the others.

The District Attorney said criminal prosecution was the only option left, since Miller didn't take advantage of drug treatment and counseling.
