A former Olympic medal winner and wrestling star showed some Oklahoma kids how they can be healthy and strong Wednesday.
As part of Tulsa's "Olympic Day," Danny Hodge spoke to kids on the importance of health and exercise.
He talked about eating apples and even demonstrated crushing them with one hand.
He also showed off some wrestling moves, proving that exercise is a powerful tool at every age.
"I hope I have been able to encourage some of the kids, boys and girls, to train and work hard on their own," Hodge said.
Hodge is from Perry. He won a silver medal in the 1956 Olympics and holds dozens of national wrestling titles.
Olympic Day is a worldwide event that started in THE 1940s.
More than 160 counties take part, celebrating the Olympics' values, like good sportsmanship, hard work, and perseverance.
