Deputies Arrest Miami, Oklahoma Man In California Woman's Murder

Sheriff's deputies in Ottawa County and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation have made an arrest in connection with the death of a 21-year-old California woman found murdered near Quapaw.

A passerby spotted Danyel Borden's body along County Roads 610 and East 20 about 2 p.m. Thursday.

The body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office in Tulsa. Deputies said Borden's body showed obvious signs of trauma. 

Early Friday morning, deputies and OSBI agents arrested Borden's ex-boyfriend, Dustin Boggs, at a home in Miami, Oklahoma. 

The 24-year-old Boggs was booked into the Ottawa County jail on a first-degree murder complaint.
