A Tulsa apartment resident helped police arrest a man who had broken into his apartment Monday evening following a foot chase.

Tulsa Police say an officer attempted to stop a car driven by Keith Mack, 24, in the 1100 block of South Sheridan for a traffic violation.

Mack pulled into QuikTrip and ran towards the Melrose Apartments in the 6300 block of East 9th Street, according to police.

Police say Mack forced his way into an apartment while trying to elude officers, but the resident dragged him back outside and held him until Tulsa Police arrived.

Mack was arrested on five outstanding misdemeanor warrants and was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints resisting arrest and first degree burglary.
