Two Tulsa Teens Arrested For Stealing Car At Gunpoint

Two teenagers were arrested by Tulsa Police late Monday evening after the pair stole a car at gunpoint in the 7800 block of South Wheeling.

Tulsa Police arrested two teenagers late Monday evening after the pair stole a car at gunpoint in the 7800 block of South Wheeling.

A woman reported her 2010 Cobalt had been stolen at about 11:40 p.m.   As officers responded, dispatchers informed them that the car had been taken at gunpoint.  Officers stopped the car at 6400 South Peoria just minutes later. 

Inside the car, Tulsa Police found a 15-year-old driver and a 13-year-old passenger who was carrying a loaded 9mm handgun.

The 15-year-old was booked into Tulsa County jail on an armed robbery complaint and the 13-year-old was booked on complaints of armed robbery and pointing a deadly weapon.
